About AEDT

The Spanish Association of Technical Demolition, Cutting & Drilling was born on June 29, 2006, as a result of several meetings of industry professionals to address common interests.

AEDT starts to promote the professionalism of the guild and also its partners work through constant proposed activities.

The association becomes a platform to support enterprises in the technical demolition, cutting and drilling sector, and also a place where the concerns of these professionals are discussed, notably:

  • To recognize the work done, with a caption and an agreement of our own, and with a defined type of tasks performed at work.
  • To create a professional network across the country, through regular meetings.
  • To inform contractors and project managers (engineers or architects) about the different methods and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
  • To improve the training of existing work staff and to prepare new staff for its incorporation.
  • To encourage the permanent training of management and office staff of companies in the sector.
  • To promote cooperation of manufacturers in developing the sector.

Within AEDT members are:

  • Contractors: specialized companies that perform technical demolition, cutting and drilling.
  • Suppliers: companies producing or distributing equipment and supplies related to some of these activities.

In addition to representing its members, the association maintains close partnerships with different kind of entities, which include:

  • business associations,
  • professional groups
  • media and
  • other entities.
